AUG 2017 — SEP 2021
Silicon Valley, San Francisco, CA
My journeys have landed me on sunny Californian shores. In 2017, I accepted a graduate degree opportunity at California College of the Arts. A year later, I was armed with a Master’s in Interaction design, and more stories to tell. Soon after I joined an amazing team at Intuit Inc, to work on their QuickBooks product. I’m learning so much from their customer-obsessed approach to design.
Special shoutout to Karl! Gotta love a city with an ever-present fog being.

DEC 2016 — JUN 2017
Silicon Savannah, Nairobi, Kenya
In July 2016, my partner was moving to Nairobi, Kenya for work and I decided to follow her there. It was a scary and exciting decision. In 5 months, I packed my bags and set off on a journey that turned out to be extremely fruitful.
I consulted for Lendable a fin-tech organization creating the first debt platform designed specifically for African Alternative Lenders. I fell in love with the energy of Nairobi. The access to nature and wildlife was on a scale that I had never experienced before.

MAY 2010 — NOV 2016
Silicon Plateau, Bangalore, India
My formative 20’s was in Bangalore. I formally studied graphic design at Wigan & Leigh College and graduated class of 2006, with an internship in hand.
In May 2010, I landed an opportunity to work for Lazaro Advertising, a design organization that was thinking way ahead of its time. Here, I helped build the company from its simple beginnings into a force to contend with. My love for brand development led me to collaborate with many startups and give them a personality and platform to talk to their customers.
